Obituary of Albin Oblack

Beanie (Albin) Oblack, 97, died May 19, 2011 in Molalla. He was born November 19, 1913 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to John and Annie Oblack. On March 19, 1939 he Married Mya (Katherine) Oblack. Surviors include his twin Daughters and sons-in-laws Carolyn and Jim Sweet and Marilyn and Bill Dokken; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Thila Oblack; sisters-in-law, Ellen Thronson, Hannah Schink and Bertha Oblack; brother-in-law, Chet Schink; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mya (Katherine) Oblack in April of 2011. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25 from 4 to 7 pm. at the Molalla Funeral Chapel. Private interment for family members will be Thursday, May 26 at 9 am at Adams Cemetery, followed by a memorial service and reception at 11 am at Foothills Community Church. Joanne Petrie will officiate. Molalla Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Momorial contributions may be made to Molalla River Watch, Inc., P.O. Boc 867, Molalla, Oregon 97038 and Colton Fire Districk #70, 20987 S Hwy. 211, Colton, Oregon 97017.
