Troy Franklin Nolin was born in Los Angeles on April 22, 1944 and passed peacefully surrounded by his family on March 17, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, sweet dog Sandy, 7 children, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Troy moved to Canby in 1986 with his family and has called Canby home ever since. He was an avid bowler and could be often found up at Canby Bowl either behind the counter cooking or bowling. Troy had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He retired from Clackamas County WES in 2002 and enjoyed his retirement traveling around in his RV with Kathy. One of the best trips was the 2 week Alaskan cruise they took in 2014. He also enjoyed the trips to the beach and Chinook Winds (he always had great luck at the slot machines). -- Life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
