Obituary of Gary Lee Schneider

Gary was born on February 11, 1941 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Carl Andrew Schneider and Alice Arzona (Crow) Schneider.  He passed away on March 13, 2022 in Woodburn, Oregon after a long illness. 

Gary married the love of his life Mary Ellen (Hoskins) 62 years ago.  They raised 5 wonderful children; Brenda Morse, Becky White, Denise Bowers, Randy Schneider and Tim Schneider.  Gary was blessed to see 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Gary spent 12 years working as a railroad foreman before becoming a property manager for 30 years.  He retired in 2008.  Gary was a member of the Oregon City Christian Church.  He enjoyed going to flea markets, landscaping and watching western movies.  Most of all he really enjoyed visiting with friends and family.

Gary was preceded in death by his father; Carl, mother; Alice, sister; Karen Mezger, sister-in-law; Janet Schneider and grandson; Kevin Stratton.  He leaves behind his wife Mary Ellen, daughters; Brenda, Becky and Denise, sons; Randy and Tim, brothers; Leland, Dennis and John, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 at 1:00pm at Canby Funeral Chapel.
