Milanie Cleofas

Obituary of Milanie A. Cleofas

Milanie Cleofas was born on May 19, 1948, in Carcar City, Cebu and was the third child of two older brothers to Cleofas, Felix and Abellanoza, Arsenia.

My mother was a devoted catholic, she spent her time volunteering in her church parish giving the holy eucharist to the sick at hospitals and giving communion in church. She was a choir member as well. Hula dancing was her go to activity and loved to teach everyone her new hula moves. There were many opportunities when she loved teaching family, neighbors and friends who are boys/men to do man hula dances. It was her ability to work til the age of 71 years old, to mention a few jobs she waged in; Saint Patrick Monastery, Ampco Parking and at the HNL Airport

However, my mother loved God, she went to church everyday and even on Sundays. Many friends always greeted her at her parish church, but the priority for her everyday was to teach her children to know about Jesus and God, to let known to all her grandchildren, for her future great grand children and her many family generations to come.

A dear friend to many and loved by everyone dear to her, remembered as a dedicated mother who loved her two sons (Robert and Clayton) and two daughters (Ann Grace and Kimberly). Forever will be missed, forever will be remembered of her love she left in our hearts.
