Obituary of Donald Raymond Price

Donald Raymond Price (Donnie) was born on August 15, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Willard Sr. and Juanita Price (deceased).  He was the second of five children born to this union.  The family moved to Oregon in 1963, and established friends and church ties in the Portland area.  Donnie's sons, Dante was born in 1979, followed by Daniel in 1980.

Donnie and Rowena married in 1987 and spent 35 years as husband and wife, experiencing life together.  They enjoyed travelling and going overseas several times, exploring different lands and cultures, shopping for family, and home.  They tackled many home reno projects together and enjoyed improving their properties.  Along with his ability to naturally connect with people, Donnie was a talented artist.  He drew freehand, painted and later developed his own metal art style that was sought after by customers to do projects he really enjoyed.  He is mentioned by Disney as a contributor of theirs because of his artwork on the Tree of Life.

Donnie gave people his full attention and was always ready for everyone with a broad smile and warm and generous hugs.  Loving people as he did gave him an open door to tell you about his real love, Jesus Christ.  Donnie never missed an opportunity to spread the Good News of his Savior to everyone he came across.  He was and still today remains God's messenger in Heaven.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Rowena, sons Teal, Dante and Daniel.  Donnie's brothers, Willard Jr. (deceased), and DeAngelo, his sisters, Tishianna and Tammy; and two granddaughters, Dammiah and Harmony, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Donnie left his earthly home on Saturday, April 22nd and is now in the loving hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
