Obituary of Summer Dawn Railey

On the afternoon of July 6th, 2023, Summer Dawn Railey, 18, entered the loving arms of the Lord in Molalla, Oregon. She was born in Portland, Oregon on September 10th, 2004. She spent most of her life growing up in Hubbard, Oregon. Summer loves all things nature and animals; sharks, ocean, crystals and pretty rocks, frogs, and bees. She was creative and crafty; with drawing and painting, making random crafts, tattooing/piercing and also had a sense of humor that could make your belly laugh at the same time that your jaw was hitting the floor in astonishment at what was just said. She was a lover, a protector, spicy and blunt. When she smiled, it was huge, and reflected across her entire body. 

A service will be held Tuesday, July 18 at 11 o’clock at Christ Lutheran Church. A private family burial will follow the service.

She is survived by her mother, Kelley Baldwin, father, Hyrum Andreason, bonus-mom Jill Andreason. Brother, Damion Railey, sister Abigail Railey, bonus-siblings Alexus Chuprinov, Blake and Carly Taylor, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends who love her and will miss her greatly. Summer was predeceased by her Nana, LaRonda Railey-Brant, Aunt, Jennifer Andreason, Great Grandparents William Cleatwood and Shirley Railey.
