Obituary of Randy Lee Ward
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Randy Lee Ward on September 20, 2023. Born on July 2, 1957, Randy's life was a tapestry of passions and contributions, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Randy is remembered as a lifelong musician. He was a gifted drummer and singer and played in various bands throughout the years, touching many with his talent. Beyond performing, he generously shared his love for music, mentoring countless individuals, and was always there to help when others were in need. Randy was never idle-- he loved machinery, cars, motorcycles, and learning how things worked. He was a lifelong learner and tinkerer, taking things apart and sometimes putting them back together again. Randy was also an accomplished hunter and sportsman, with a deep love of the great outdoors that he shared with his children. His stories, filled with adventure and insight, will be recounted for years to come.
He is survived by his sisters Linda Hoffert-Hughes and Cyndi Boos, his brother Steve Boos, his loving daughters, Jamie Riggs and Wendy Lucas, his devoted son, Cody Ward, and his 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Their memories of Randy are filled with wisdom, laughter, and love, and will ensure that his legacy continues to thrive.
